Electronic Assembly Technician


Russ Hadick & Associates have combined efforts with a local Dayton, OH client to fill their Electronics Assembly Technician role. The incumbent will be responsible for the assembly, configuration, and testing of various products, and must be experienced in soldering (both lead-free and leaded), light mechanical assembly, potting, serializing, wiring, and other tasks as required.

Necessary skills:


  • Familiarity with Windows based computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Must be able to read and understand assembly work instructions and schematics.
  • Must be able to understand and use basic electronic test equipment with instruction. (DMM, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Power Supplies, etc.)
  • Must be able to solder both thru-hole, and SMD circuit boards, using leaded, and lead-free solder, and use an assembly microscope as required.
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow, standard ESD control practices a must.
  • Must be able to read and follow various procedural documents as necessary.
  • Must be able to operate basic shop equipment (drill press, band saw, etc.).
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks accurately and consistently.
  • Must be very attentive to detail.
  • Must be able to maintain consistent working hours and have a good work ethic.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.


Education and Experience:


High School Diploma (or GED), and 3-5 years of electronic assembly with SMD soldering experience.


Working Hours:


This is a full time position with working hours from 8-5, Monday to Friday. From time to time, some overtime may be required.




$20 - $25/hour
